Lisa Irving knew how a clinical report is structured, what language it uses and what a psychologist checks before signing it.
That knowledge lived in her head and in the hours she spent at the keyboard every week.

The expertise was there. The capacity to apply it to more clients was not.
There was no way to turn one practitioner’s way of working into something every practitioner could use, and the time went to paperwork instead of clients.

The risk was not the interface. It was whether AI could draft a clinically sound report a psychologist would put their name to.
So that was tested first, against real cases, before anything else was designed. Alongside it, the clinical workflow was mapped with practitioners to find the steps where a draft saves real time, and demand was checked with the people who would use it daily.

Every product decision followed how psychologists already work: how a draft is generated, how it is reviewed, how it is signed.
The workflow matches existing practice, so adopting it meant less effort, not a new routine. Virtuosa was built around psychological reporting language, structure and compliance from the start, not adapted from a generic healthcare template. One Australian team carried it from strategy to launch, with no offshore handovers.
